Polmaise Bowling Club is delighted to congratulate Aaron Furzer, who was crowned the Stirling Area and District Champion of Champions following a thrilling final at Borestone Bowling Club.
Aaron faced James Wray of Cambusbarron Bowling Club in an exceptionally close and competitive match. There was little between the two players throughout, with both producing excellent bowls under pressure as the final moved towards a tense conclusion.
Aaron eventually secured the title by 21 shots to 19, completing a superb victory and adding another major county honour to his achievements.
The result also marks a remarkable milestone for Polmaise Bowling Club, as this is the second consecutive year that a Polmaise player has won the Champion of Champions title. Gary Malcomson lifted the trophy last year, making back-to-back victories an outstanding achievement for the club and a proud reflection of the quality of bowling at Polmaise.
