Polmaise Bowling Club is celebrating an outstanding fortnight for one of our young stars—Kyle Malcolmson—who has achieved back-to-back national and international honours.
Scotland U18 International Squad – Silver Medal
Last week, Kyle represented Scotland as part of the Under‑18 International Squad at the prestigious Youth International Series. Competing against some of the best junior talent in the UK and beyond, Kyle and his Scotland teammates delivered a superb performance and were rewarded with the silver medal. This international recognition highlights Kyle's skill and commitment on the green, and it's a fantastic achievement for both him and Polmaise Bowling Club.
U18 Scottish National Singles – Bronze Medal
Hot on the heels of his international success, Kyle turned his attention to the U18 Scottish National Singles Championship this weekend. He played superbly throughout the competition, battling through to the semi-finals, where he narrowly missed out on a place in the final. Kyle secured the bronze medal—another excellent result at national level and a testament to his consistency and determination.
A Remarkable Run of Success
To earn both international silver and national bronze medals within the space of two weeks is an incredible achievement. Kyle continues to build on his reputation as one of the most promising junior bowlers in the country, and everyone at Polmaise is extremely proud.
