Polmaise Bowling Club is proud to announce an outstanding run of success, with our players reaching both the Stirling County Finals and the final qualifying stages for the Scottish National Championships.
County Finals – Sunday 13th July at Bridge of Allan Bowling Club
Two of our teams have progressed to the Stirling County Finals:
Aaron Furzer will compete in the Men's Singles Final against Jim Aitken of Allandale.
Our Triples team, made up of Kyle Malcolmson, Stephen Fleming, and Gary Malcolmson, will take on Stenhousemuir in what promises to be a closely contested match.
These finals reflect the hard work, skill, and determination shown by our players throughout the season. Reaching this stage is an impressive achievement and a testament to their dedication on and off the green.
Scottish Qualifier Finals – Tuesday 24th June, 6:45 PM at Spittalmyre Bowling Club
We are also delighted to share that:
Gary Malcolmson has reached the final of the District Singles Qualifying round.
Aaron Furzer and William Black will play in the final of the District Pairs Qualifier.
Scottish Under 25 Qualifier Finals – Monday 30th June, 6:45 PM at Spittalmyre Bowling Club
Kyle Malcomson has reached the final of the district Under 25 Scottish Qualifier Finals.
These matches represent the final hurdle before the Scottish National Championships in Ayr. A win at this stage will secure their place at one of the most prestigious events in the national bowling calendar.
We encourage all members, friends, and supporters of the club to attend and support our players as they aim to take Polmaise Bowling Club to the national stage.
