The 2025 Presentation Dance was a fantastic evening of celebration, laughter, and community spirit at Polmaise Bowling Club. Members and guests turned out in great numbers to mark the close of another successful season, and the atmosphere in the hall was electric from start to finish.
Setting the Scene
A huge thank-you goes to Sonia Donaldson, who once again transformed the hall into a stunning venue for the occasion. Her hard work and eye for detail gave the evening a touch of class and set the perfect tone for what proved to be a memorable night.
Vice President Dave Stewart opened proceedings with a heartfelt message of thanks to all members, volunteers, and sponsors who continue to make Polmaise Bowling Club such a special place. Special mention was given to Alex Brown (Club President) for his leadership and commitment over the past two years, and to the many individuals who contribute tirelessly behind the scenes throughout the season.
Food, Fun, and Entertainment
Guests enjoyed a wonderful buffet provided by Rhonda Armitage, featuring the much-praised smoked trout courtesy of Billy Armitage. The night's entertainment was led by Jim Smith, whose performance was described by many as "just amazing" and helped make the night even more memorable.

Polmaise extends sincere thanks to all sponsors for their continued support throughout the year. Plans are already in motion for a Sponsor Bowling Day this summer, offering another chance to celebrate our shared success on and off the green.
