Polmaise Bowling Club is celebrating another remarkable success as our triples team clinched the County Championship Triples title in commanding fashion.
The formidable trio of Gary Malcomson (Skip), Stephen Fleming (Second), and William Black (Lead) faced off against a strong team from Stenhousemuir—Aaron McFarlane (Skip), Alan McFarlane (Second), and Stuart Williamson (Lead). However, the Polmaise side proved too strong on the day, producing a dominant performance and sealing the victory with an end to spare.
This outstanding win reflects the dedication, skill, and teamwork of the Polmaise players, and adds yet another trophy to the club's growing list of honours.
In the County Championship Singles, Aaron Furzer represented Polmaise with great distinction, narrowly missing out on victory in a tightly contested match against Jim Aitken of Allandale. Arron was just edged out 21-18, showing resilience and class in a thrilling encounter.
The club would like to congratulate Gary, Stephen, William, and Arron for their performances and for continuing to fly the Polmaise flag high in County competition.
