A massive cleanup around the green and a full clean-down of the clubhouse have been undertaken, marking significant progress in the club's maintenance and improvement efforts.
The initiative, led by a committed team of members, has included major restoration work on the green, clubhouse, and greenkeepers' shed. Volunteers have tirelessly worked to clear and restore areas in need of repair, ensuring the club remains in top condition for its members and visitors.
Community Spirit in Action
Sandy Deans has been instrumental in handling the various tasks required for the greenkeepers' shed, while other volunteers have contributed to different areas of the club's restoration. The sense of camaraderie and teamwork has been evident throughout, with members expressing their gratitude for everyone's hard work.
Renovation Milestones and Acknowledgments
Significant contributions have been made by Lawrence Begg, George Rough, John McKenna, and Dave Stewart, with special thanks to Ian and Harvey, the greenkeepers from Braehead Golf Club. Recent improvements include:
